Norwalk Packers End New Britain's Win Streak To Win League Title NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Packers 13-and-under youth football team won the won the Colonial Youth Football and Cheer championship with 21-8 over the New Britain Hurricanes. The victory snapped New Britain's 29-game conference winning streak. Norwalk finished the season 9-1, with its only loss coming at the hands of New Britain. After a scoreless first half. Democrat Dunn Upsets Republican Incumbent For First Selectman In Brookfield BROOKFIELD, Conn. -- Democratic challenger Steve Dunn upset Republican Bill Tinsley Tuesday night in the first selectman race in Brookfield.
