Nathaniel Witherell In Greenwich Salutes Its Veterans GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Nathaniel Witherell, in collaboration with Masonicare Home Health & Hospice, hosted a special Veterans Day ceremony Wednesday to recognize 25 Witherell long-term residents and volunteers who served in the U.S. military. The Nathaniel Witherell is a short-term rehab and skilled nursing center.It is owned and operated by the Town of Greenwich on a not-for profit basis and has been serving the community for over 100 years.

Danbury Flyers Capture 3 Medals At CT Middle School Championships DANBURY, Conn. -- The Danbury Flyers ran last Saturday in the Connecticut Middle School State Cross Country Championship at Wickham Park in Manchester. There were 369 girls and 416 boys in the races, which covered 1.7 miles. Despite the large field, the Flyers had three medalists: Valerie Fox in 16th place overall with a time of 12:12.6, Gabriella Teixeira in 17th place overall with a time of 12:13.1, and Maya Gawley in 33rd place overall with a time of 12:28.0. Ridgefield Academy Students Get The Scoop On Making Yogurt RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Students at Ridgefield Academy learned how to make yogurt with school chef Paul Desiano and science teacher Jerry Nash on Tuesday.
