Volunteers can join the Audubon on Mondays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. through the end of October as the Leon Levy native Garden at Bylane Farm is expanded and renovated. He was born Dec. 31, 1967, in Danbury, Conn. At the age of 16, Walter became the foster son of Ruth and Joe Walter. He was educated in the Bridgeport Public School system from which he received his GED. He is survived by his mother, Ruth L. Walter, of Bridgeport; a sister, Shanetta K.
