It took place in Dutchess County in the town of Poughkeepsie around 5:40 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19 on Violet Avenue at the intersection with Spring Street. According to Lt. Duo Wanted For Trumbull Armed Robbery Detectives in Fairfield County are asking for public assistance to identify two men allegedly responsible for an armed robbery at the Shell gas station. The armed robbery took place in Trumbull on Monday, Oct. 8 at the gas station on White Plains Road. According to Lt. Know Them? Duo Wanted For Using Stolen Credit Cards On Long Island, Police Say Police on Long Island are asking the public for help identifying a duo who allegedly used a stolen credit card. Eight credit cards were stolen from a shopping cart at Costco, located at 625 Broadhollow Road in Melville, on Thursday, Sept. 14 around 12 p.m.  Two people attempted to use the cards at Apple, located in the Walt Whitman Shops, in Huntington Station later that day. CT Man Killed In 2-Vehicle Crash A 65-year-old motorist was killed in a two-vehicle Connecticut crash. It happened in Windham County in Hampton on Route 6 in Hampton around 2:50 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 19. According to the Connecticut State Police, James Harvey of the Windham County village of Wauregan was driving east on his 1994 Honda PC800 motorcycle when he hit a 2009 Nissan Vera, driven by a 22-year-old Hampton woman who was making a turn. Serious Crash Shuts Down Roadway In Easton A Fairfield County roadway is closed to traffic due to a serious crash. Easton Police said on Facebook that Route 58 is closed due to wires down associated with the collision that took place around 12 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20.  The roadway is closed between Valley Road and Silver Hill Road.  Detour signs have been directing drivers to other routes in the area. Fatal Crash: 32-Year-Old Hudson Valley Man ID'd As Victim A 32-year-old Hudson Valley man was killed during a crash with another vehicle on Route 299. The incident took place in Ulster County around 7:15. p.m., Thursday, Oct. 19 in the town of Gardiner. According to Trooper Steven Nevel of the New York State Police, Dutchess County resident Daniel Curtin, of Wappingers Falls, was driving a 2023 Yamaha motorcycle when he was struck by a 2012 Subaru that crossed over the double-yellow line. Nevel said Curtin was gravely injured and died from his injuries despite the efforts of the troopers and EMS on the scene. This investigation is ongoing.
