She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Hudson Valley Restaurant To Appear On Gordon Ramsay's 'Kitchen Nightmares' A restaurant in the region that closed a short time after filming an episode of Gordon Ramsay's "Kitchen Nightmares," is slated to be featured on the show's upcoming episode. The Love Bites cafe, which was located in Ulster County, will be featured on the show that is known to rip apart a restaurant, and its owner, at 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 13 on Fox. Hudson Valley Man Nabbed For Sex Abuse, Police Looking For Other Victims, Cops Say Police are encouraging anyone who may have information or who was abused by a man charged with alleged sex abuse to come forward. Ulster County resident Steven Lopez, age 34, of Kingston, was charged on Wednesday, Nov. 1 with persistent sex abuse for forcibly touching a victim against their will. According to Kingston Police, Lopez has been arrested at least twice for the same type of crime in the past 10 years. 54-Year-Old Woman Breaks Into Westport Home, Police Say A 54-year-old woman was charged with burglary after she allegedly broke into a Fairfield County home and was found "rummaging" in the kitchen. The incident took place in Westport on Saturday, Nov. 3 around 5:10 a.m. Lt. Eric Woods, of the Westport Police, said officers responded to the home on a report of a burglary in progress. Fraud Scammer Who Took Nearly $50K From Hudson Valley Resident Nabbed, Police Say A man who successfully pulled off a fraud scam of a Hudson Valley resident for more than $50,000 was nabbed by police following an investigation. Prashil Sha, age 22, of Maywood, New Jersey, was arrested and charged on Saturday, Oct. 21 with two counts of grand larceny for the incident that took place in Orange County in Wallkill. Family Of Bobcats Takes Over Backyard Of Home In New Canaan A family of bobcats visited a Fairfield County home and made themselves at home. The incident took place in New Canaan on Wednesday, Nov. 8. Greenwich Head-On Crash: 1 Critically Injured, Witnesses Wanted Police are searching for witnesses to a crash that left a motorist in critical condition with life-threatening injuries in Fairfield County. Update: Custodian Stops Armed Man Outside CT Elementary School, Officials Say This story has been updated. A Connecticut school custodian is being credited with helping to apprehend a man with a gun outside of an elementary school. The incident took place outside of the Lincoln Bassett Community School at 130 Bassett St, New Haven on Wednesday, Nov. 8 in the morning.
