Resurfacing Of 4th Street In Mount Vernon Rescheduled For Week Of April 27 MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Resurfacing of the roadway along West 4th Street between Franklin and South Columbus avenues has been rescheduled.  Work will begin on Monday, April 27, and last until Friday, May 1. Milling and repaving of streets along this section of the Con Edison gas pipeline route will be between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. No parking restrictions will be posted. This rescheduling has become necessary because the Mount Vernon Board of Water Supply must repair a broken water main in the area.
