Amy Paulin's Assault-Protection Bill Passed By Assembly WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Assemblywoman Amy Paulin (D-88) has announced that assault-protection legislation she authored was passed by the New York State Assembly on Thursday. The bill, A.1797A, would extend orders of protection in relation to felony or misdemeanor sexual assault cases to ensure that victims are protected while their abusers are on probation. PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- New York State Police responded to a two-car personal injury auto accident that occurred on Interstate 84, just east of Ludingtonville Road, on Friday.
