WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- New York State Assembly members have issued a statement of support for Board of Regents Chancellor Merryl H.Tisch's push for the elimination of the Nov. 15 deadline regarding evaluation plans. Amy Paulin's Assault-Protection Bill Passed By Assembly
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Assemblywoman Amy Paulin (D-88) has announced that assault-protection legislation she authored was passed by the New York State Assembly on Thursday. The bill, A.1797A, would extend orders of protection in relation to felony or misdemeanor sexual assault cases to ensure that victims are protected while their abusers are on probation.
