BEDFORD, N.Y. -- Solarize Bedford-Mt. Kisco, a discount buying program that uses different resources to dramatically reduce the cost of solar, is holding a Solarize Workshop on Sunday, April 26. The workshop will run from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Katonah Village Library, 26 Bedford Road in Katonah. The event is co-hosted by Katonah Village Library and Katonah Village Improvement Society. YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Assemblyman Steve Katz (R,C-Yorktown) is renewing his call for the Legislature to consider Assembly Bill 4643, a state constitutional amendment that would strip lawmakers of their pensions should they be convicted of felonies relating to their office. BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch is honoring the owner of Greater Bridgeport Community Enterprises, a mattress- recycling company, who will be able to create new green jobs due to a mattress recycling law that goes into effect on May 1.
