35-Year-Old Killed In 2-Car Long Island Collision A Long Island man is dead after two cars collided on a roadway, sending the victim careening into a tree. It happened on Monday, Dec. 18 in Uniondale, according to Nassau County Police. Sean Morris, age 35, of Hempstead, was driving east on Charles Lindbergh Boulevard in a 2012 Hyundai. Morris had two passengers – a man and a woman, police said, though their identities have not been made public. It happened on Sunday, Dec. 17 in Valley Steam. Hicksville resident James Tinghitella claimed his Mega Millions prize from a summer drawing, the New York Lottery announced on Monday, Dec. 18. 'Drive Sober Or Get Pulled Over' Campaign Launches Across NY State ‘Tis the season for cracking down on drunk driving. Starting on Wednesday, Dec. 13, and lasting through Monday, Jan. 1, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced that the New York State Police would join in on the national “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign.
