Community Bands Together To Help Neighbors After ‘Devastating’ Fires The two families, both with young children, had each just moved in, and saw their homes destroyed by flames. On Wednesday, April 19, at around 5:30 p.m., a Bellmore residence on Judith Drive caught fire for unknown reasons. The neighboring home also caught fire as the house was engulfed in flames. Yoselin Alvarado Guerra, age 13, was last seen leaving her residence in Westbury at 2 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25, the Nassau County Police reported. Clean Energy: Long Island Completes First Solar Panel Project This project alone will offset hundreds of thousands of pounds of carbon dioxide and save taxpayers at least $10,000, officials said. The Town of East Hampton’s Parks Department building has become the first municipality on Long Island to complete a “solar-plus-storage” project, according to a press release by Gov.
