' Star's Ex-Husband Opens In 2 NJ Towns
A brand-new marijuana dispensary backed by the husband of a "Real Housewives of New Jersey" husband is now open in two locations. "The Dispensary" has opened its doors in both Somerset and is set to open in Union on Saturday, April 20. The company was founded in 2022 with a mission of providing "a space where people can experience the healing properties of cannabis while receiving exceptional service and support," its website says. Police have identified the innocent driver killed by a wrong-way car thief during a police pursuit on I-695 earlier this week. Dimeka Thornton, 37, of Windsor Mill, was operating an Acura TSX when she was struck by a driver in a stolen car in the outer loop, on the ramp to Exit 18 to Liberty Road around 12:15 a.m. Monday, April 8, the Maryland Attorney General's Office said in a release. Just prior to the crash, officers were patrolling near the 1800 block of Belmont Avenue in Windsor Mill when they saw a car reported stolen in a hotel parking lot, officials said. Two Entrapped, Five Hospitalized In Fairfax County Fire
Five people were hospitalized in a Fairfax County fire on Wednesday morning, April 10, responders said. The blaze broke out on the 13900 block of Whetstone Manor Court in Clifton around 10:15 a.m., the county fire department said. Two people were trapped inside the home where heavy flames were reported. Two occupants were removed from the home and seriously injured. Three others were hospitalized, too, police said.

A teacher from Virginia was found with child porn amid an investigation into a possible sexual relationship with a child, police said. William Riddell, 40, of Chantilly, was arrested in Kansas on March 30, the Fairfax County Police Department said. The investigation into Riddell began when detectives learned he may have had an inappropriate sexual relationship with a child in Fairfax County, police said. A motorcyclist was killed in a collision involving an on-duty New Jersey State Police trooper in South Jersey Tuesday, April 9, state officials said. A 45-year-old Stafford man has been convicted for his role in an animal fighting ring in the DMV for five years, federal officials said.
