Range Rover Passengers Ejected, Seriously Hurt In I-66 Crash
Three people were hospitalized, two with life-threatening injuries, in a crash on I-66 in Fairfax County early Easter morning, police said. A westbound Toyota Camry lost control, hit the right jersey wall, and then came to rest in the left travel lane around 3:45 a.m. in Fairfax County, State Police said. Eleven people were displaced by a massive fire Easter weekend in Sussex County, officials said. Multiple fire companies responded to 39 Halsted St. in Newton around 10:45 a.m. Saturday, March 30 for a house fire with possible entrapment, responders said. A 48-year-old man was killed fleeing a minor crash when he crashed again Friday, March 29 on I-395 in Washington DC, authorities said. Ronald Jerome Jordan Jr. was heading north in a Chevy Malibu in the Third Street Tunnel when he rear-ended a Fort Transit Wagon and didn't stop, fleeing north in the tunnel around 5:30 p.m., DC police said. A minute later, the Malibu crossed lanes of traffic and began driving in the shoulder lane. Charges have been upgraded for a New Jersey dad whose deceased 9-year-old son was found in a burning vehicle, authorities said. Manuel Rivera has been charged with second-degree aggravated arson, first-degree murder, second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and second-degree desecration of human remains, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said.
