Child Sex Offender Escapes Lebanon Hospital, Police Say A 47-year-old convicted sex offender escaped from police custody at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon city police announced in a release on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. Ryan Matthew Moyer fled from his hospital room "where he was being guarded by officers from Lebanon County Correctional Facility," on March 25, 2023, police say.  The reason Moyer was in the hospital was not released.  Moyer is a registered sex offender since 2001 for "indecent liberties with a child." Man Coming At Troopers With Many Knives Shot: PA State Police A man with "multiple knives" was shot at by multiple Pennsylvania State Troopers on on April 5, 2023, at 4:43 am, the Pennsylvania State Police announced later that morning.  Thomas Edward Conroy, 43, of Uniontown came out of a home at 233 Amend Road in Georges Township with the knives following a domestic dispute, PSP said. Power Knocked Out When Driver Crashes Into Utility Pole In Lititz: Police (Photos) Power should be restored by 5:30 p.m. after a SUV plowed into a utility pole in Lititz on April 4, 2023.  The Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department responded to a call of a vehicle accident with injuries in the 400 bock of Owl Hill Road Tuesday afternoon.  The driver left the road way for an unknown reason and struck a PPL power pole.  The driver was hurt, but the extent of their injuries is unknown.  PPL is in the area making repairs.  The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Police Say A juvenile plowed through a red light into oncoming traffic, causing a two-vehicle crash that left both drivers with injuries, Upper Allen Township police say. The unnamed teen driver of a gray Honda Civic was heading south on South Market Street when they did not notice a red light on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.  That's when they drove into oncoming traffic, hitting a black Chevrolet Avalanche traveling west on West Lisburn Road.
