ID Released For 47-Year-Old Struck, Killed By Train In Hudson Valley Officials have released the identity of a person hit and killed by an MTA train in the Hudson Valley. Rockland County resident Victor Reinoso, age 47 of Haverstraw, was killed around 9:55 p.m., Monday, July 24, east of Dutch Lane in Spring Valley, according to a spokesman with the Metropolitan Transporation Authority. Time is running out for someone who purchased a Lucky for Life ticket worth $365,000 a year for life in Fairfield County. Officers Bravely Rescue 2 Dogs Trapped In Culvert In Region A barking dog for two hours led police in the region to two dogs that were stuck in an underground culvert box. The incident took place in Sullivan County around 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 29 in the village of Liberty. According to Liberty Police Chief, Steven D'Agata, officers followed the parking to an underground box running along Edgar Street. AR-15 Stolen From Deep Vehicle In CT During Smash/Grab Thefts, Police Say An AR-15 rifle was stolen out of the vehicle of a Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection vehicle parked at a home. The incident took place in New Haven County around 6:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 26 in Wallingford. On Monday, July 31, the Greenwich Department of Health announced that they have been informed of incidents involving swimmers’ itch at several Greenwich beaches. Missing CT Teen's Body Found In Water At Rhode Island Beach Police have identified a 15-year-old Connecticut teen whose body was recovered after disappearing while swimming at a Rhode Island beach. New London County resident Jaimer Martin Ico Gregorio, of the city of New London, was located on Sunday, July 30, in the ocean off Dunes Park Beach in Westerly, Rhode Island. 13-Year-Old Girl Shot At CT Hospital A 13-year-old girl was shot in front of a large Connecticut hospital during what police are calling a gunfight between the occupants of two vehicles. The incident took place in New Haven around 2:30 a.m., Sunday, July 30 in front of Yale New Haven Hospital. Female Found Dead In Water Near Hudson Valley Marina A female was found dead floating in the water near a Hudson Valley marina. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, July 30 at the Nyack Marina in Nyack.
