Woman Wanted For Stealing, Using Credit Cards On Long Island, Police Say Police on Long Island are asking the public for help identifying and locating a woman wanted for allegedly stealing credit cards and using them a short time later. The credit cards were stolen from a vehicle in the parking lot of Cedar Beach in Mount Sinai on Thursday, Aug. 17. Man Nabbed For Attempted Rape On Long Island, Police Say A homeless Long Island man was charged with the alleged attempted rape of a woman who was walking down a street. The incident took place in Inwood around 5:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 4. According to the Nassau County Police, a 50-year-old woman was walking on Nassau Avenue when the man, identified as Freddie Keitt, age 44, approached her from behind. Man Accused Of Throwing Water Bottles At Greenwich Store Employee A Connecticut man who had been banned from a Fairfield County store was charged with criminal trespass for allegedly throwing water bottles at a store employee. New Haven County resident Douglas Brown, age 67, of West Haven, was charged on Saturday, Sept. 2 for a report of causing a disturbance at the CVS Store at 99 Greenwich Ave. When officers arrived, they found Brown had entered the store that he was banned from for a Friday, Aug. 25 incident in which he threw two water bottles at an employee in front of several people, said Lt. Hudson Valley Man Nabbed With 2 Guns After Chase, Police Say A 39-year-old Hudson Valley man was nabbed with two guns after police received a 911 call reporting a man with a gun. The incident took place in Dutchess County in the city of Poughkeepsie around 2 p.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 5 on Main Street. Man Punches Person In Face At Popular CT Restaurant, Police Say A Connecticut man has been charged with alleged assault and breach of peace after punching a customer at a restaurant in the face, injuring them. The incident took place in New Haven County in Milford on Saturday, Sept. 2 at the Stonebridge Café. 15-Year-Old Accused Of Making Threat Against School In Region, Police Say A 15-year-old teen from the region has been charged with allegedly making a terroristic threat against a school. On Sunday, Sept. 3, the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of a threat being made via Instagram against the Eldred Junior and Senior High School in the town of Highland. Fatal Hudson Valley Crash: Driver Hits Vehicle While Attempting To Pass, Police Say A 73-year-old man was killed after crashing into another vehicle while attempting to pass two others.
