Drunk CT Woman Breaks Into Home, Bites Officer, EMT, Police Say
A drunk Connecticut woman was charged with assault after she allegedly broke into a home, drank alcohol from the refrigerator, and then bit an officer and an EMT when they attempted to arrest her, according to police.
The incident took place in New Haven County around 2 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, in Naugatuck.
According to the Naugatuck Police, officers were dispatched to a home on Park Avenue for a possible burglary.

1 Dead, 2 Hospitalized After 4-Vehicle Hudson Valley Crash
A 26-year-old man was killed during a multi-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley.
It happened in Orange County around 5:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 14 in the town of Wallkill, on Schutt Road.
According to detectives, when officers arrived on the scene, they found a 26-year-old New Windsor resident lying on the ground unconscious and unresponsive.
Officers immediately began life-saving measures, including CPR, police said.
The victim was transported to Garnet Health Center in Middletown by EMS where he was pronounced dead, police added.

CT Man, Age 28, Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash, Driver Critical
A 28-year-old Connecticut was killed in a single-vehicle crash that left the driver in critical condition.
The crash took place in New Haven County around 8:15 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 13 in Waterbury, in the area of 909 East Main St.
When police responded to the report of a collision they located a vehicle that struck a wall in a private parking lot, said Lt. Ryan Bessette, of the Waterbury Police.
