3, Including Child, Injured In Westhampton Crash
Three people were injured, including a 9-year-old child, during a two-vehicle crash on Long Island.
The head-on crash in Westhampton occurred around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31 on County Road 31 by Gabreski Airport.
According to Lt. Susan Ralph, of the Southampton Police, an investigation revealed that a 2020 Chevy Traverse with four occupants, including a 2-week-old child, was traveling southbound on Country Road 31 when it collided with a 2006 Honda Pilot with one occupant.

Police on Long Island are asking the public for help identifying a man wanted in connection with an alleged burglary.
Police say it occurred in Inwood around 1:55 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 30 at the ARI Shipping Corporation offices at 80 Sheridan Blvd.
According to detectives, the unknown man walked through an open gate and into the offices of the business. Once inside he removed a laptop worth $300.

Duo Nabbed For Robbing People's United Banks Inside CT Stop & Shop Supermarkets
Two Connecticut men have been arrested for allegedly carrying out multiple robberies this summer at People’s United Bank branches located in Stop & Shop supermarkets in the state.
Middlesex County residents, Gino Rizzo, age 28, and Jalania Pantano, age 27, both of Middletown, were arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 30 on an indictment charging them with bank robbery offenses, said Vanessa Roberts Avery, US Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
