Stamford Man Caught After Fleeing From Occupied Wilton Home, Police Say
A man was arrested for allegedly trespassing inside an occupied home and then running from police in Fairfield County.
Lowell Nicholas, age 26, of Stamford, was arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 31, after entering a Wilton home.
According to Lt. Gregg Phillipson, of the Wilton Police, an investigation revealed that Nicholas fled the residence when he came into contact with one of the residents.
Wilton Police then responded to the area and located Nicholas a short distance away from the house, Phillipson said.

Have You Seen Him? Police Asking For Help Finding Missing Hudson Valley Man
Police in the Hudson Valley are asking for assistance locating a missing man who hasn't been seen in a week.
Dutchess County resident Christopher Imperatore, age 31, of Hyde Park, was reported missing on Wednesday, Aug. 31.
According to Chief Robert Benson, of the Hyde Park Police, Imperatore left his residence on Haviland Road around 3 a.m., on Saturday, Aug. 27, and has not returned.
Imperatore left his residence with two laundry bags loaded with unknown items, Benson said.

Woman Accused Of Stealing $2,500 From Staples In Mount Kisco
A Northern Westchester woman was allegedly caught stealing more than $2,500 from a business through fraudulent refunds.
Octavia Johnson, age 37, of Mount Kisco, was arrested at the Staples on Noth Bedford Road on Tuesday, Aug. 9, and charged with grand larceny.
According to the Westchester County Police, Johnson was caught after loss prevention staff provided documentation alleging she stole more than $2,500 through fraudulent refund transactions.
She is due in Mount Kisco Court on Thursday, Aug. 25.
