ID Released For Man Shot, Killed In Parking Lot Of Bay Shore Church Police have released the identity of a Long Island man who was shot and killed in a church parking lot. The incident took place in Bay Shore just before 1 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 17 in the parking lot of the House of Prayer Church. According to detectives, responding officers found Linver Ortiz-Ponce, age 29, of Ronkonkoma in the parking lot of the church on Holbrook Street with gunshot wounds. Mount Vernon Teen Dies After Being Stabbed During Dispute, Police Say A Westchester teen has died after being stabbed in the neck during a dispute. Armani McDonald, age 19, of Mount Vernon, was killed just before 5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 17 in the Bronx. According to the NYPD, police received a 911 call of an assault in progress at 2550 Briggs Ave., in the Bronx. Upon arrival, officers found McDonald with a stab wound to the neck, NYPD said. EMS responded and transported the aided male to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead. 47-Year-Old Killed After Being Ejected In Crash On CT Roadway A 47-year-old Connecticut man was killed after being ejected during a single-vehicle crash. The incident took place in Hartford County around 2:50 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, in East Plainville. According to Connecticut State Police, Kendall Alston, of Windsor, was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle eastbound on Route 72 in Plainville when for an unknown reason he struck the guardrail barrier on the left side of the roadway. Fully Involved Tesla Car Fire Takes Nearly 45 Minutes To Put Down In Stamford A fully-involved Tesla fire took in Fairfield County took firefighters nearly 45 minutes to extinguish due to its electric engine. The fire began in Stamford around 11:20 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 15 in the parking lot behind the Blue Ginger Restaurant on Main Street. According to Capt. 20-Something Woman Charged After Allowing 14-Year-Old To Drive Her Vehicle In CT, Police Say A 20-something woman has been charged with risk of injury to a minor after allegedly letting a 14-year-old drive her vehicle. The incident took place in New Haven County on Friday, Sept. 9 on Cherry Street in Milford. Rebeca Ducila, age 25, of Lawrenceville, Georiga, was arrested during a reckless driving investigation, said Milford Police. Police said she was letting a 14-year-old drive her car. She was charged with risk of injury to a minor and released on a $2,000 bond.

Police Search For Pickup Truck Connected To Hit-Run CT Crash Police are asking the public for help locating a pickup truck that allegedly fled a hit-and-run crash that injured two juveniles in Connecticut. The 14-year-old male student made the threats on Thursday, Sept. 15, against R.C. Murphy Junior High School in Stony Brook.
