Ramapo Supervisor Candidates Debate Town's Future RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Both Bill Weber and Michael Specht want to help restore Ramapo's reputation. The two supervisor candidates debated Wednesday at Rockland Community College. Weber is running on the New Direction for Ramapo slate while Specht is running on a Democratic line. Longtime supervisor Christopher St. Lawrence was ousted in May after being convicted of federal securities and wire fraud and conspiracy. Man Steals Drone In Yorktown Parking Lot, Police Say A 60-year-old man was arrested and charged with stealing a drone from a parking lot in Yorktown Heights on Thursday. Henry Johnson of Yorktown was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class E felony.  A person reported his drone and his accessories were stolen from the parking lot at 1864 Commerce Street on Oct. 7. The victim received an anonymous tip of the location of the drone and a police investigation led to Johnson. Johnson was released on his own recognizance and is due back in court on Nov. 21.

Stiller, a Chappaqua resident, was in Montebello on Monday and Tuesday according to the Town of Ramapo Facebook page.
