Canine Ambassador Sydney To Give Teaneck Kids A Paw Up With Art, Acceptance
TEANECK, N.J. -- Children at the Benjamin Franklin Middle School in Teaneck soon will get the chance to meet Sydney, “an amazing dog that proves each one of us is treasured,” said Tracy Lynn Cohen-Grady.
Sydney, a shepherd-mix rescued by the Hillsdale veterinarian, doesn’t let the fact that he only has three legs hold him back.
As an ambassador for the “Animals, Art & Acceptance” program, the 14-year-old pooch is a living lesson in the differences that make everyone unique, Cohen-Grady said.
