Stamford Man Accused Of Assaulting Girlfriend STAMFORD, Conn. -- A Stamford man is facing multiple charges after police said he choked his girlfriend during an argument, according to a report in the Stamford Advocate. Anthony Nowlin, 21, was accused by the unidentified 21-year-old woman with roughing her up after she tossed his asthma inhaler to him and it hit his wrist, the Stamford Advocate reported. Police said that Nowlin was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 13, and charged with strangulation, unlawful restraint, and disorderly conduct, the Stamford Advocate story said.
