WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Glencliff, a stately Georgian manor with 25 plus acres that straddle the Mount Kisco-Bedford border, is on the market for $23 million, according to an ad posted by Sotheby’s on Zillow.com.
The red-brick home, located on Sarles Street, has more than 20,000 square feet of space, plus a tennis court, pool, seven-car garage, and a detached guest cottage.
It also has an orangerie, aviary and a state-of-the-art kitchen, Sotheby’s said.

ORANGETOWN, N.Y. – The families of two Rockland County men – one a firefighter who was killed, and the other injured, during the 2005 “Black Sunday” tragedy – will receive part of a $183 million settlement, according to a report by lohud.com.
New York City Firefighter John Bellew of Pearl River was married with four kids when he died in the tenement fire in the Bronx, and Firefighter Jeff Cool, a Pomona resident who lived in Garnerville at the time, sustained serious injuries, according to lohud.

Fairfield University Student Charged With Sexual Assault, Burglary
FAIRFIELD, CONN. -- A 20-year-old Fairfield University student faces charges of sexual assault after a classmate accused him of groping her, according to a report by News12.
According to police, Julio G. Roque touched the woman’s breasts while she was sleeping in her dorm room on Sunday, Feb. 21, the News12 story said.
Roque, of Syosset, N.Y., who has also been charged with third-degree burglary, denies fondling the woman, according to a report in the Fairfield Citizen.
He was ordered to appear next month in state Superior Court in Bridgeport, the Fairfield Citizen story said.

FAIRFIELD, CONN. -- A Fairfield teen is a rising star in the world of politics, according to the online publication, Campaigner.com.
Emma Vahey started young, helping out her mom as she ran for town council, and is now working as an intern for Jim Himes, a Democratic congressman representing Connecticut’s 4th District, the Campaigner.com story said.
Vahey, a senior at Fairfield Warde High School and president of its Young Democrats Club, also was a deputy campaign manager for her mother, Cristin McCarthy Vahey, now a state representative in the 133rd District, Campaigner.com reported.
