Westport Man Pushed Woman To The Ground, Police Say WESTPORT, Conn. -- A Westport resident is facing charges after pushing a woman to the ground, Westport police said. Jose Hernandez, 33, was arrested on Friday, March 18, and charged with assault, police said. Hernandez is accused of getting into an argument with the woman the night before and shoving her, causing her to fall and injure her right wrist and shoulder, police said. Officers interviewed the victim at Norwalk Hospital where she was taken for treatment. A bond of $1,000 was set for Hernandez, and a court date in Norwalk scheduled for March 21, police said.
