New Rochelle Lightning Pee Wees Win Philadelphia Tournament NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The New Rochelle Lightning Pee Wee “A” ice hockey team travelled on the weekend of Oct. 23-25 to play in the Philadelphia Fall Classic. Playing five games in two days, the Lightning won their first tournament of the year by beating the Rochester Red Wings in the semifinals and the first place seeded Carolina Lightning 5-1 in the championship game. In the championship game, New Rochelle trailed 1-0 after the 1st period.
