Norwalk Runner Advances To National Cross Country Championships FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Runners from Norwalk, Westport and Ridgefield finished in the top 10 Saturday at the Foot Locker Northeast Regional Cross Country Championships and have qualified to run in the national finals on Dec. 12. Somers Teen Closes In On $10K To Raise Awareness About Arthritis SOMERS, N.Y. -- Jared Heller of Somers has fought arthritis since he was a toddler. Now, the 14-year-old Somers High School freshman is closing in on his goal of $10,000 to help raise awareness about arthritis. Heller is the youth honoree for the 2015 Westchester Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 12, at Purchase College. Catherine Siciliano, 83, Lifelong Ossining Resident OSSINING, N.Y. -- Catherine L. Siciliano, a lifelong resident of Ossining, died on Sunday, Nov. 29. She was 83.
