Barnum Festival Backers Dance The Night Away At Ringmaster's Ball BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Dancers of all ages enjoyed themselves Saturday at the Ringmaster's Ball, which was part of the annual Barnum Festival. The ball at the Holiday Inn in Bridgeport featured Ringmaster Jason Julian and the Royal Family. Norwalk's CT Boat Club Wins Rowing Gold At U.S. Youth Nationals NORWALK, Conn., -- Girls from Ridgefield and Darien won a gold medal for Norwalk-based Connecticut Boat Club at the recent USRowing Youth National Championships in Mercer, New Jersey. Howard S. Madalon, 63, Ossining Resident OSSINING, N.Y. -- Howard S. Madalon, a resident of Ossining and formerly of Elmsford and Bronx died Sunday. Howard was born in the Bronx on April 13, 1953 and was the son of the late, Sal and Beatrice (Goldstein) Madalon. He was 63. Howie was a graduate of Alexander Hamilton High School in 1971. Young Basketball Players Invited To Clinics At Norwalk High NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk High School basketball coach Tom Keyes will lead a series of summer basketball workouts at the high school beginning on June 27. Boys in grades 4-8 can work on their games with Keyes and members of the Norwalk High varsity. Workouts for players in grades 4-6 will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Players in grades 7-8 will work out from 7:30-9. The clinics will be held Monday and Wednesday nights through July 27.
