Burlington Opening New Location In North Jersey Burlington is opening another store in Bergen County. The retailer, formerly Burlington Coat Factory, will be opening a location in Ramsey this fall at the Interstate Shopping Center at 235 Interstate Shopping Center, it announced. A specific opening date will be announced later. The company is headquartered in Burlington Township and currently operates 46 stores in New Jersey. Those interested in working at the Ramsey location can view job openings here.

Jersey City Rallies Around Boy Facing Life-Threatening Illness Overseas Luca Gonzalez, a 13-year-old Jersey City resident, was visiting family in Switzerland when he suddenly fell critically ill and had to be hospitalized. Gonzalez was diagnosed with spontaneous pneumothorax and has undergone several surgeries. The hospital in Switzerland is refusing to accept his insurance, since he is an American citizen. Jersey City Woman Used Housing Authority Funds For Own Benefit: Prosecutors A 53-year-old Jersey City woman was arrested on Thursday, Aug. 10 and charged with using funds for her own benefit from the Jersey City Housing Authority, prosecutors said. Sunglasses Totaling Nearly $1K Snatched In Strong-Arm Robbery At Newport Centre: Authorities A man made off with three pairs of sunglasses worth $952 in a strong-arm robbery at Newport Centre on Wednesday, Aug. 9, authorities said. At 9:30 p.m., police were called to the Sunglass Hut, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said. Tolls Set To Increase By Nearly $3 On This VA Roadway: You Can Say Your Piece Let's hope the Virginia State Corporation Commission is ready for the onslaught next year.
