The two players matched four of the white balls and the Power Ball, winning $50,000. The tickets were sold at 7-Eleven in North Plainfield and a BP gas station in Springfield.  The winning numbers were: 22, 24, 40, 52, and 64. The Red Power Ball number was 10.

Rahway Man Sexually Assaulted Woman In Park: Police Keon Hagans, a 44-year-old Rahway man was arrested and charged with sexual assault on Wednesday, Oct.4 , Union County police announced. On Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 2:50 p.m., Union County police responded to the Squires Island section of Rahway Park on River Park and found a woman who said she had been touched inappropriately by Hagans while walking through the park, officers said. Hagans was arrested at his residence and was placed in the Union County Jail, where he remains pending a court proceeding, police said.

Bike Thief Busted In Bayonne: Police A 47-year-old Bayonne man was arrested and charged on Tuesday, Oct. 10 with committing multiple thefts and a burglary last month, police said. On Sunday, Sept. 10, Bransky stole an electric bicycle from a porch on West 9th Street after cutting a chain that secured the bicycle, police said. On Thursday, Sept. 28, Bransky removed two tool boxes from a parked vehicle on 43rd Street and Avenue E.  Bransky was charged with two counts of theft and one count of burglary, police said. He was also charged with possession of narcotics, police said.
