TV Knowledge Helps NJ Engineer Win 'Jeopardy!' It was a back-and-forth nailbiter affair, the kind of episode "Jeopardy!" fans love. But in the end, Scott Riccardi, a Somerville engineer, showed off the value of a Rutgers education. John Bender, Longtime North Bergen Committeeman, Dies John Bender, who wore many hats for the Township of North Bergen, died on Thursday, July 3, his family announced. Bender served on the Zoning Board of Adjustment, was a Democratic committeeman and also worked for the North Bergen Board of Education, according to HudPost. Brick Man Fled Scene After Crashing 69 Chevy Camaro: Prosecutor A 54-year-old Brick Township man was arrested after he crashed a 1969 Chevy Camaro and fled the scene on Wednesday, July 2, authorities said. NJ Man Removed Pride Flag From Flagpole: Sayreville Police A 64-year-old Sayreville man was arrested and charged on Wednesday, July 2, with removing a Pride flag from a flagpole, authorities said. On Wednesday, June 4, Michael Mosakowski entered Veterans Park near Borough Hall at 167 Main St., Sayreville police said.
