Walmart Launches Holiday Season In August WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Christmas is still four months away, but that isn't stopping Walmart from launching its holiday layaway plan now, reported ABC News. The retail giant will begin the layaway option Friday, hoping to get customers into the holiday spirit early. Layaway plans allow customers to pay for their items in a 90-day time frame, but items must cost a minimum of $10 and a total of $50 must be met for items in layaway, according to ABC News. Bronxville's Chapel School Campers Travel Back In Time BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Dinosaurs made a comeback with the students at The Chapel School in Bronxville. The prehistoric creatures were resurrected in a fun and creative “in-house” field trip by Dinosaurs Rock. Campers in The Chapel School’s Care Bear Camp were able to touch real fossils.
