'Three Days To See' Invokes Spirit Of Easton's Helen Keller
EASTON, N.Y. -- Helen Keller's stage career continues to this day as the Transport Group presents "Three Days to See," which is a play based on Keller's writing, according to the New York Times.
Keller, a longtime resident of Easton, once took the stage with her teacher, Annie Sullivanm and toured the vaudeville circuit during the 1920's, reported the New York Times.

Whole Foods Presents Habitat For Humanity With $13,774 Check
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Whole Foods presented Habitat for Humanity of Westchester (HFHWC) with a $13,774.89 check on Monday, July 20.
The check was a donation from 5 percent days held by Whole Foods on June 24, 2015. Five percent day is when 5 percent of the net sales were donated to HFHWC. Whole Foods stores throughout Westchester were involved, including White Plains, Port Chester and Yonkers.
“This is a great help to our growing food, and green initiatives; solar on our homes, which is part of our healthy homes, healthy hoods initiative,” said Jim Killoran, CEO of HFHWC.
