Big Lots To Close 4 More Pennsylvania Stores It's more bad news for discount retailer Big Lots.  The national chain previously announced plans to close around 40 stores this year, according to a filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), but in a new filing last week, the company said it may need to shutter nearly 300 locations — several of them in Pennsylvania. Teen Girl Struck Dead In Lancaster, Coroner Says A 15-year-old girl was found dead on the side of the road on Monday morning, Aug. 5 the Lancaster County Coroner Eric Bieber announced. Vehicle Slams Into Fence On Rt 30 Ramp: PennDOT A vehicle crash into a fence at a Route 30 ramp is causing some delays on Monday, Aug. 5, according to PennDOT's 511PA.  The crash happened at the Route 30 Westbound on-ramp at Kreutz Creek Road in Hellam Township around 11:15 a.m., according to the York County Department of Emergency Services dispatch log.  The ramp was closed as emergency crews remained on the scene.
