Missing CT Man, 58, Found Safe This story has been updated. A missing Connecticut man has been located safe, according to the Hartford Police Department. Howard Francis, of Hartford, had been reported missing on Tuesday, Oct. 10 after he failed to show up for a medical procedure, officials said. Lt. Aaron Bosivert, of the Hartford Police, said Francis was found on Wednesday, Oct. 11, and was unharmed. 28-Year-Old Hit, Killed By Garbage Truck In Fairfield A person was hit and killed by a garbage truck in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Fairfield around 7:13 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 11 in the area of Camfield Drive at Bloomfield Drive. According to Lt. Edward Nook Jr. of the Fairfield Police, the 28-year-old person was struck by a United Carting truck and was pronounced dead at the scene. The State Medical Examiners personnel took the victim from the scene. OSHA also arrived on the scene to investigate. Former Hudson Valley Finance Director Pleads Guilty To Theft Of $95K From Recreation Center A former Hudson Valley finance director has pleaded guilty to the theft of tens of thousands of dollars from a local non-profit for his private use. Former Ulster County Finance Director Burton Gulnick, Jr., entered the plea on Tuesday, Oct. 10, said Ulster County District Attorney David Clegg. New Update: IDs Released For Easton Man, Newtown Woman Found Dead Two people found dead inside a vehicle in a Fairfield County pond have been identified by police. The two were found in the pond in Easton on Stepney Road near Church Road inside a 1995 Jeep Cherokee which was partially submerged in water and tipping to the driver's side. Trumbull Store Clerk Hit With Gun, 2 Robbers On Run With Cash, Merchandise, Police Say Police in Fairfield County are searching for two armed men who allegedly attacked a gas station clerk and made off with cash and merchandise. The incident took place in Trumbull around 11:50 p.m., Monday, Oct. 9 at the Shell gas station at 648 White Plains Road. According to Lt. Multi-Vehicle Hudson Valley Crash Seriously Injures Tractor-Trailer Driver A 56-year-old tractor-trailer driver who was confused by the height of a Hudson Valley railroad overpass was hit by a vehicle after he backed up and hit another car, and got out of his truck. Dutchess County resident Jeffrey Kiluba, of Red Hook, died on Saturday, Oct. 7 during a brief holiday in the Dominican Republic, said his brother Tim Kiluba on GoFundMe. Norwalk Liquor Store Robbed At Gunpoint Police in Fairfield County are searching for three armed men who allegedly robbed a liquor store of high-end bottles. The incident took place in Norwalk around 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 9 at the Old Post Spirit Shop, 694 West Ave. Lt. Hudson Valley Man Nabbed For Pursuit Following Domestic Incident, Police Say A Hudson Valley man was charged with assault and unlawful fleeing following a domestic incident in which he allegedly attacked a woman. Ulster County resident Robert Vanhorn, age 48, of Napanoch, was arrested on Friday, Oct. 6. According to Sgt.
