Hudson Valley Town Issues Emergency Order To Prevent Buses From Dropping Off Migrants On the heels of New York City Mayor Eric Adams' executive order rerouting migrant buses out of the city, a Hudson Valley town is doing the same. The order comes from Rockland County and Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann who on Friday, Dec. 29, issued a town-wide emergency executive order preventing charter buses from dropping off migrants. $20K Fur Store Heist: Trio On Run After Incident In Stamford Three men are on the run after allegedly ripping off a Fairfield County fur store for more than $20,000 in goods. The incident took place in Stamford around 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 27 at Engle's Fur at 115 Bedford St. According to Stamford Police, the three men entered the store and walked out with the furs, fleeing in an awaiting Ford pickup truck with misused Florida plates IBB434. Anyone who has information or who knows the identities of the men is urged to contact Sgt. Damien Rosa of BCI Property Crimes at 203-977-5828.

Missing Hudson Valley Woman Found A missing Hudson Valley resident has been located and is safe. The Orange County woman who had missing for a day has been located by the New York City Police and is safe, said the town of Crawford Police. The alert for Helen Vasile, age 80, who was considered a "vulnerable adult" was issued by Crawford Police on Thursday, Dec. 28. She was last seen driving a blue Subaru Crosstrek driving northbound over the new Tappan Zee Bridge. 22-Year-Old CT Woman Charged In Fatal Hit-Run Crash A Connecticut woman has been charged with evading responsibility resulting in death after allegedly hitting a 31-year-old man on a dirt bike, killing him. The incident took place in Hartford on Wednesday, July 19 at the intersection of Windsor Street at Loomis Street. Woman Found Dead In Hudson River On Christmas Eve Tentatively Identified A woman who was found floating in the Hudson River on Christmas Eve has been tentatively identified. The body was discovered in Dutchess County around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 24 near Waryas Park in the city of Poughkeepsie. ID Released For Stamford Man Fatally Stabbed Outside Party Christmas Day Police have identified a Fairfield County man who was fatally stabbed outside of a home during a Christmas party. 32-Year-Old Killed In Christmas Stabbing At Stamford Home Juan David Hernandez Velasco, age 32, of Stamford, was attacked around 3:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 25 on Crystal Street. Man Nabbed 7 Years After Raping CT Woman While Posing As Cop, Police Say After seven years, a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in Connecticut while posing as a police officer has been caught. Niamkey Amichia, age 33, of Pierce County, Washington, wanted for a New Haven County sexual assault in Waterbury in Nov. 2016, was arrested by the Pierce County Sheriff's Department for an unrelated sexual assault.
