Tuckahoe Public Library To Display Custom Book Covers TUCKAHOE, N.Y. -- Instead of judging a book by its cover, Tuckahoe children and teenagers can design one for their favorite fiction book.  Tuckahoe Public Library is taking cover submissions until April 22 and all designs will be on display at the library on April 29. Youth interested in participating are to include a front cover image featuring a drawing or collage along with the title of the book, the designer's name and a brief summary of the book. Supplies are available from the librarians. Every participating designer will receive a special treat.

Westchester Poets To Read At Pre-Launch Of Books NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Westchester poets Michael Collins and Mary Lou Buschi will read from their forthcoming collections at a pre-launch on April 16 at Recologie.  Collins wrote his upcoming short collection, "Harbor Mandala" during walks around Mamaroneck Harbor. Buschi's "Awful Baby" is a full-length collection with themes of love, loss and family.  The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and there is a $10 food or beverage minimum for attendees.
