Two Charged In Yorktown With Possession Of Marijuana
YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Two women were arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and having an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle on May 30, according to the Yorktown Police Department.
Police officers were on patrol of the Yorktown Green parking lot when they observed Angela R. DiSanto, a 21-year-old Shenorock resident, and Janine M. Patierno, a 20-year-old Danbury, Conn., resident, in a vehicle with open containers of alcohol beverages, a traffic infraction, according to police.

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- RoseMarie Wildman, of Sleepy Hollow, died June 2. She was 89 years old.
Wildman was born in Chicago. on March 8, 1926. She was a church musician and served churches in Mount Prospect, Ill., Chappaqua, Pleasantville, and the Riverside Church in New York City as an organist, director of children's choirs or director of handbell choirs.
She is survived by her husband, Lynn, of 59 years; her two sons, David and Peter, and their two wives, Karen Collins and Kathy Wildman; four grandchildren; and a niece.

Four Teenage Girls Charged In Hawthorne Robbery
HAWTHORNE, N.Y. -- A woman from New York City was attacked Sunday, June 7, by four girls at a Hawthorne train station, reported News 12 Westchester.
According to officials, the four girls, all under the age of 16, allegedly hassled the woman and then grabbed her by the neck until she nearly lost consciousness, and then proceeded to take her iPhone and laptop, reported News 12 Westchester.

WESTPORT, Conn. -- Earthplace, the Nature Discovery and Environmental Learning Center, announces the appointment of Sarah Crosby, Ph.D ., as the new director of Harbor Watch, the water quality monitoring and research program.
