Two Wounded Servicemen Honored At Annual Lacrosse Tournament In Fairfield FAIRFIELD, Conn.  – The 9th annual Sticks For Soldiers Thanksgiving Charity Lacrosse Tournament held at Fairfield Ludlowe High School last month honored two U.S. servicemen who were badly injured serving our country.  U.S. Army Sgt. First Class Mark Holbert sustained life-changing injuries in the military in August 2010, and U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Aaron Alonso was injured in February 2014. Both attended the lacrosse tournament held in their honor. Norwalk Transit District Administrator Honored After 38 Years Of Service NORWALK, Conn. -- Louis Schulman, administrator of the Norwalk Transit District was recently inducted into the North East Passenger Transportation Association (NEPTA) Hall of Fame. Schulman was honored in a ceremony Thursday, Dec. 4, at the Biltmore Hotel in Providence, R.I.   Schulman, who has served for 38 years at the head of the Transit District in Norwalk, is retiring Jan. 2. The Norwalk Transit District is a public agency that provides public transit service including bus, rail shuttle, and door-to-door services throughout southwestern Connecticut.
