He is survived by his devoted wife, Cornelia Evans, and other relatives.  The wake will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20, immediately followed by a funeral, all at Bethel Baptist Church, 1 Fisher Court in White Plains. Burial will be at Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Road in Hartsdale. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
