YONKERS, N.Y. -- Charles V. Peterson, of Yonkers, died on Saturday Jan. 17 after a long illness. He was 55.
Charles was born on Oct. 19, 1959 to Charles and Helen (nee Monahan) Peterson in Yonkers, where he was raised and graduated from Gorton High School. He was an electrician with Local 3 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for more than 32 years. On April 27, 1985 Charles married Ginny Trainor in St. Anthony's Church. BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Frances M. Casimiro Kelly, of Bridgeport, wife of Michael J. Kelly, Sr., died on Dec. 30 in Hollywood, Fla. She was 91.
Born in Bridgeport on Sept. 26, 1923, Frances was the daughter of John and Marion Puglisi Casimiro. A proud, lifelong Bridgeport resident and Central High School graduate, Frances, together with her husband Michael, was the proprietor of several area businesses, most notably Kelly's Corner and Together, a clothing boutique that was a popular Main Street destination in Bridgeport during the '70s, '80s, and '90s. Anna Rimby, 94, Of Westport
WESTPORT, Conn. -- Anna M. Rimby, of Westport, beloved wife of Francis LaPlace and Walter Rimby, died on Monday, Jan. 12 at St. Joseph's Manor. She was 94.
Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, the daughter of James and Margaret McCollum, Anna had been a Westport resident for more than 60 years. She retired from People's Bank in Westport, at the age of 75, after working in securities sales. She was a longtime parishioner of Assumption Church in Westport and an avid New York Yankees fan who also enjoyed her trips to the Connecticut casinos.

STAMFORD, Conn. -- David Ramon Garcia of Stamford, died on Wednesday, Jan. 14. He was 60.
He was born in New York City in 1954 and attended Bronx High School of Science and Syracuse University. Throughout his career in communication technology, David worked at General Electric Group W, Verestar, NBC and, most recently, at SES in North American commercial sales. David loved traveling and all things outdoors, including running, hiking, sailing and spending time with family and friends in the Adirondacks.

Rose Krankall, 86, Lifelong Fairfield Resident
FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Rose Krankall, of Fairfield, died on Friday, Jan. 16, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. She was 86.
She was born in Fairfield to Andrew and Barbara Volarics, she had been a lifelong town resident. She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Odice of Fairfield; a son, Rudy (Martha) Krankall of Shelton; five loving grandchildren; four cherished great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rudolph Krankall, three sisters and a half sister.

James D. Evans, 83, Of White Plains
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- James D. Evans, of White Plains, died on Tuesday, Jan. 13. He was 83.
James was a longtime Mason and member of Bethel Baptist Church. He is survived by his devoted wife, Cornelia Evans, and other relatives.
The wake will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20, immediately followed by a funeral, all at Bethel Baptist Church, 1 Fisher Court in White Plains. Burial will be at Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Road in Hartsdale. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
