Brother Carmine Peter Pellegrino, 65, Of New Rochelle
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Brother Carmine Peter Pellegrino, C.F.C., a member of the Christian Brothers' community at Iona Prep in New Rochelle, died on Friday, Jan. 16, in New Rochelle. He was 65.
Pellegrino was born Dec. 20, 1949, in New York to Dr. Peter and Margaret Pellegrino and was raised in New Rochelle. He attended Iona Grammar School, Blessed Sacrament High School and Iona College in New Rochelle, where he received his bachelor of arts degree in history in 1972.

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Denise Tambone, of Ossining and formerly of Eastchester, died on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015. She was 58.
Tambone was born in Bronxville on Feb. 10, 1956, to Angelo and Jean (Zema) DeLucia. She was a graduate of the Eastchester High School class of 1974.

NOWALK, Conn. -- Adrienne F. Kelley, of Norwalk, died on Saturday, Jan. 17. She was 87.
Born in Berlin, N.H., and raised in Jay, Maine, she was the daughter of Amedee and Leonie (St. Pierre) Maurais. An active member of St. Matthew Church in Norwalk, she worked as financial secretary for more than 23 years and was also a longtime member of the church choir and of New Horizons.
She was a former member of the Columbiettes and especially enjoyed participating in the shows they put on, as well as traveling to Europe and to the Holy Land on church trips.

NORWALK, Conn. -- Joseph DellaVentura, a former resident of Stamford, died on Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Norwalk Hospital. He was 87.
He was born in Stamford on Dec. 22, 1927, to Joseph and Jennie Monda DellaVentura. DellaVentura was employed with the City of Stamford as a foreman in the Maintenance Department for many years before retiring in 1991. He served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- Sister Rita (Sister Robert) Arthur, RSHM, died at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City on Friday, Jan. 16\. She was 84.
She was born in Logansport, Ind. on July 20, 1930, to Robert and Mary Grady Arthur. She entered the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary (RSHM) in Tarrytown, N.Y. in 1948, and took the name Sister Robert.
