Get College Admissions Advice At Scarsdale JCC Of Mid-Westchester
SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Two experts will be speaking about the college admissions process, on Sunday, April 19, at 7 p.m. at the JCC of Mid-Westchester .
David Marcus, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of a book called "Acceptance," and Gwyeth Smith Jr., the subject of the book, will share their “Seven Secrets of Getting into College.”
They’ve spoken around the country, giving practical advice for students ranging from valedictorians to those who struggle in classrooms.

Scarsdale High School's Annual Carnival Returns
SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The Scarsdale High School's annual carnival began on Friday, April 17, and continues on Saturday, April 18.
The carnival will run from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. While beautiful weather is expected, the rain date is set for Sunday, April 19, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Tickets may be purchased in advance at http://www.newtonshows.com/advance-sale-tickets. As in past years, proceeds from the SHS Carnival will be donated to charity. This year, the student government has chosen to donate to The Afya Foundation, Heifer International, and The Peter C. Alderman Foundation.

Summer Enrichment Programs Offered To Eastchester Students
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Teacher Institute of Lower Westchester Experience 2015, for kindergarten though eighth-grade, has announced summer enrichment offerings including science, arts, reading/writing, history, drama technology, math, music, and hands-on hobbies.
The programs are for Eastchester, Tuckahoe and Pelham students.
