Norwalk Teachers Awarded Grants For Summer Learning NORWALK, Conn. -- In partnership with Norwalk Public Schools, The Norwalk Federation of Teachers, and the Dalio Foundation's Fund for Teachers announced that eight Norwalk teachers are recipients of grants totaling more than $34,000. These teachers will embark on summer odysseys spanning North America, South America and Europe. Danbury's Wcsu Named Among Top College Values In The State DANBURY, Conn. — Western Connecticut State University has ranked fourth highest among all higher education institutions statewide reviewed in a recent study of “The Colleges Providing the Best Value in Connecticut” conducted by the financial data and technology company SmartAsset. Paulin's Domestic Violence Gun-Surrender Bill Passes SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Legislation proposed by Assemblywoman Amy Paulin, D-88, was passed unanimously by the state Assembly on Tuesday.
