A man shot by two Connecticut police officers has been charged with alleged attempted assault on a police officer after his release from the hospital.
New Haven County resident Kyle O’Creene, age 24, of Naugatuck, was arrested on Tuesday, May 7, in Naugatuck.
His arrest warrant stems from an incident that occurred on Thursday, April 25, around 9:15 a.m., when the Naugatuck Police Department received a 911 call that there was a man with a knife at Baummer’s Pond Park acting erratically, the department said.

A Connecticut man will be charged with the murder of his wife after she was found lying dead on a city street, a victim of domestic violence, police said.

One Connecticut man is dead and another seriously injured after one of the vehicles crossed the center-median into oncoming traffic on I-84, according to authorities.

One person was killed after a man driving drunk slammed into a stopped truck on a stretch of I-84, according to Connecticut State Police.
The three-vehicle crash happened in New Haven County at around 7:50 a.m. Friday, Mach 18 on the westbound side near Exit 16 in Southbury.

Man Struck, Killed By Vehicle On Busy CT Roadway, Police Say
A man was killed after being hit by a Toyota Avalon along a busy Connecticut roadway.
The incident took place around 12:15 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 23, in New Haven County in the area of Thomaston Avenue, in Waterbury.
When officers arrived on the scene they found a 60-year-old man who had been struck by the vehicle, said Lt. Robert Davis, of the Waterbury Police.
