A bold and restless force in television, sports, sailing, and philanthropy has died.
Ted Turner died Wednesday, May 6, at age 87, according to a statement from Turner Enterprises.
A cause of death was not immediately announced. Turner disclosed in 2018 that he had Lewy body dementia, a progressive brain disorder, CBS News reported.
