A 30-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that left a victim critically injured in Rockland County, police announced.
Following an investigation, Spring Valley Police arrested 30-year-old Spring Valley resident Shanice Ramsay on Monday, Aug, 25, in connection with a stabbing that happened days before, the department announced on Wednesday, Aug. 27.

Monticello Man Sexually Abused Children, Including One Under 13, Police Say
A 34-year-old Hudson Valley man is accused of sexually abusing two children, including one who was under the age of 13, police said.
Joel Deutsch, of Monticello, was arrested Tuesday, July 15, after an investigation by the New York State Police and Sullivan County Child Protective Services.
Police concluded that Deutsch engaged in sexual conduct with two minors—one under the age of 13 in Rockland County, and another under the age of 15 in Sullivan County, according to investigators.
Deutsch also provided alcohol and vape products to minors, police said.

Two men transporting a large quantity of narcotics on Interstate 87 were busted during a traffic stop in Rockland County, authorities announced.
The bust occurred on Friday, Feb. 28, when troopers stopped a 2019 Honda Pilot for a vehicle and traffic law violation in Ramapo, New York State Police announced on Saturday, March 1.
The driver, Robert Morales, 57, of Rensselaer, and his passenger, Irving Prado, 51, of the Bronx, were questioned at the scene when a K-9 officer alerted officers to possible drugs inside the vehicle, which led to a probable cause search, police said.

A Hudson Valley woman is being held without bail after allegedly stabbing her mother to death.
The incident occurred in Rockland County around 1 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11, in Stony Point.
Stony Point Police responded to a home at 431 Willow Grove Road for a report of a woman who had been stabbed and was bleeding, said Lt. Greg Becker, of the Stony Point Police.
