A 36-year-old Paterson man was killed and two others injured in a crash on Route 80 Saturday, July 19, New Jersey State Police said.
A Cadillac driven by a 31-year-old Edison man was traveling east with two passengers: Clarence Fennel Jr., 36, and a 25-year-old man, both of Paterson, when the front of the Cadillac hit the side of a Toyota, NJSP Sgt. Charles Marchan said.
That crash happened at 12:30 am on Interstate 80 east, milepost 60.2, Paterson, Marchan said.

A Long Island man was arrested after he allegedly assaulted a PSEG worker, then caused damage to a hospital wall while in custody, Nassau County Police said.
The incident happened on Saturday, July 19, at 11:03 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue near Marina Pointe Drive in East Rockaway, detectives from the Fourth Squad said in an arrest report.
