Man Accused Of Menacing 18-Year-Old Woman With Pistol After Crash In Area A 52-year-old man is facing criminal charges after police said he brandished a gun following a car crash in the Hudson Valley. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened June 17 on Route 9D in the village of Cold Spring. According to investigators, an 18-year-old Cold Spring woman was driving south on Route 9D near the Breakneck Tunnel when she passed a vehicle in front of her. Shaun Teemer, age 23, of Long Beach, was arraigned in Nassau County court Thursday, July 14, on multiple charges, including second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon. Bergen County Driver Charged In Hit-Run Crash That Killed NY Nail Tech A New Jersey driver has been charged in a hit-and-run crash that killed a 48-year-old nail technician from Vietnam on the New York State Thruway in May, authorities said. Ardit Lleshi, age 25, of Garfield, was taken arrested on June 30 in connection to the death of Michael Tran, according to New York State Police. NYC Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing Child In Dobbs Ferry A man is behind bars, accused of sexually abusing a child in the region. Charles Barbaro, age 53, of Brooklyn, was arrested Thursday, July 12, following an investigation by New York State Police and the Dutchess County Child Advocacy Center. Investigators said Barbaro sexually assaulted a victim under the age of 13 in the village of Dobbs Ferry. He was arraigned on a felony charge of criminal sexual act before the village of Dobbs Ferry Court and ordered held at the Westchester County jail on $50,000 bond. Barbaro is due back in court Thursday, July 14.

Woman Ejected After Vehicle With Three Occupants Crashes Into Trees In Area, Sheriff Says Investigators say “fatigue” may have caused a Hudson Valley driver to lose control of a car and crash into a wooded area early Wednesday, July 13, sending three people to the hospital.
