Super Slow Driver Was 2X Legal Limit On Revoked License, Stafford Sheriff Says A 59-year-old repeat drunk driver was once again taken off Stafford’s roads this week, authorities said. Regina Rodman, of Stafford, was spotted driving significantly below the speed limit and swerved into oncoming traffic around 3:50 p.m. Thursday, March 14 on Mountain View Road, Stafford County Sheriff David Decatur said. Rodman initially denied driving the vehicle, however, later admitted she was behind the wheel to buy more alcohol, Decatur said, and admitted to drinking wine just before driving. NJ Baby Killed By Dog ID'd In Campaign Support is surging for a New Jersey family whose 3-month-old baby was killed by the family dog. Daymon Jair Balbuena was mauled by the dog at his home on Mereline Avenue in Avenel around 6:15 a.m. Saturday, March 9, according to a GoFundMe campaign, along with Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Woodbridge Police Department Director Robert Hubner. Motorcyclist Killed On Stafford Road A motorcyclist was killed in Stafford Thursday evening, March 14, police said. The motorcyclist was struck at the intersection of Joshua Road and Greenleaf Terrace at approximately 5:15 p.m., a spokesman for the county sheriff's office said. UPDATE: Details released, motorcyclist killed in Joshua Road crash ID'd Despite lifesaving measures by a witness, fire and rescue staff, and deputies, the motorcyclist died. DUI Driver Kills Guardsman Changing Tire, GF Seriously Injured On I-495: State Police A 30-year-old National Guardsman changing his tire on the shoulder of the Capital Beltway was struck and killed by a DUI driver and his girlfriend seriously injured over the weekend in Virginia, according to police and loved ones. Propane Company Sees Restrictions Following Home Explosion That Killed Virginia Firefighter A propane company has been issued temporary restrictions in Loudoun County in the weeks following a home explosion that killed a firefighter, officials said. The Feb. 16 explosion at 347 Silver Ridge Dr., in Sterling, was caused by a leaking 500-gallon propane tank, the Loudoun County Fire and Rescue Fire Marshal’s Office (LCFR-FMO) said. The investigation showed that propane leaked into the tank and around the structure and was ignited by an ignition source, that remains unknown.
