The 16-year-old Bergen County native who at 9 said she dreamed of making a spot on the USA gymnastics team did just that. She's headed to the Paris Olympics. Hezly, whose family moved from  Oradell to Plano, TX, finished fifth in the all-around competition at the Olympic trial last week. Her final score of 111.15 put her on Team USA alongside vets Simone Biles, Jade Carey, Suni Lee, and Jordan Chiles. Raymond Maldonado, of Perth Amboy, has been charged with murder in connection with the death of Awilda Verrette, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. 'Pray For Saniya:' Sadness Spreads Following Death Of Girl, 6, In Bayonne Fire Sadness spread throughout Bayonne following the death of a 6-year-old girl in a fire Sunday, June 30. Firefighters found Saniya Felton unresponsive around 11:40 p.m., while responding to the flames and smoke that billowed from 438 Avenue C, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.  Saniya was taken to Bayonne Medical Center where he was pronounced dead shortly after 1 a.m., Suarez said.
