Thomas "Tom" Hartenstine was riding a Suzuki GSX-R1000 when he was killed in the crash on Route 30 in Manheim Township at 7:13 p.m., according to the Lancaster County Coroner and area police. Newville Dad Killed In Rt 944 Crash A 28-year-old Central Pennsylvania dad has been identified as the person killed in a weekend Cumberland County crash. Kody Tidd, of Newville, was driving at a "high rate of speed" when he "lost control" of his vehicle on Route 944 westbound just before the Deer Lane intersection in the evening hours Saturday, June 3, 2023, Cumberland County Coroner Charley Hall told Daily Voice.
